Louis J. Dakoyannis, Esq., LL.M.
Mr. Dakoyannis has extensive experience in commercial and residential and real estate, and financing transactions, estate planning, taxation, business planning, corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships, lease agreements and civil litigation.
Prior to the formation of Dakoyannis & Sherring, LLC, Mr. Dakoyannis was an associate with the accounting firm of Coopers and Lybrand where he worked on sophisticated tax planning issues involving corporations, partnerships, individuals, sole proprietorships and non-profit entities.
Louis Dakoyannis is admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court and the Massachusetts Appellate Tax Bureau. Attorney Dakoyannis holds a B.S. degree in Accounting from Northeastern University, a J.D. degree from Suffolk University Law School and LL.M. in Taxation from Boston University School of Law. Mr. Dakoyannis also served as a law clerk to the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office.
Mr. Dakoyannis is legal advisor to the Federation of Hellenic-American Societies of New England, the past president of the Boston Chapter of the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association, an Executive Board member of the Hellenic Bar Association, and a past member of the Board of Trustees of the Greek Orthodox Church in Watertown, Massachusetts. He is also a member of the Real Estate Bar Association of Massachusetts and the Massachusetts Bar.
